Through out our Awana year we have all sorts of fun activities to keep the clubbers interested.
Wiley Union Church's Awana clubbers enjoyed heading off to West Valley Junior High to compete in the annual Sparks-A-Rama & Awana Games.

Last year the T&T boys and girls were able to bring home another 1st place Championship Banner!
As you can see from these score results, our kids did an outstanding job!

Ladies New Tuesday Night Bible Study "By Every Word" Join us every 2nd & 4th Tuesday at 6:30 pm (Next meeting on May 24th) In Scripture God reveals a very important fact concerning our nourishment... "It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." ~ Matthew 4:4
We therefore can't just take certain parts of God's Word, like just His promises and nothing else. That would be an unbalanced diet. We need to take all of God's Word. So come and join us as we discuss and explore what a truly balanced diet of God's living and active Word should look like.

The congregation was invited outside after the morning worship service on February 28, 2010 for a brief ceremony committing this huge building project to our Lord and Savior.
Pastor Terry Dinsmore presenting many of the WUC's dedicated men on the Building Committee.
Pastor Terry had the privilege of digging the first shovel full of dirt at the ground breaking ceremony.

This is our current church building as of 2/28/10. In the weeks and months ahead you will want to refer back to this picture to see where we originally started from. The transformation will absolutely amaze you!
Bright and early Monday morning 3/1/10 the big equipment started digging to prepare for the placing of the footings.
In just 24 hours the landscape has taken on a new look. The green grass is gone and the rough layout of the foundation can be seen.
The cement truck was spinning for hours on Wednesday 3/3/10 pouring yards and yards of concrete for the footers.
March's cold and windy weather was felt clear to the bone by the hard working men finishing up the foundation's concrete slab, poured on Friday 3/12/10.
Even though the skies looked like they would release some heavy rain fall, praise the Lord, the men were able to complete their task without the much dreaded ruining rains, showering down.
Wednesday 3/17/10 the whole north side of the old building had been removed in preparation for the union of the new addition.
The framing really makes a huge difference. Our long awaited dream is quickly becoming reality.
Putting up walls in this case can only improve relationships! 3/22/10
The chairman of our Trustee Board really loves his boards/ Trusses.
Every day Monday - Saturday the men are working really hard. Their speed and quickness are amazing, just look at our 1st picture and compare to where we are now.
But don't let them fool you. They love playing with and showing off their "toys"!
This room will be where we play our AWANA games on Wednesday nights this Fall 2010.
This room is one of the many classrooms that are upstairs. We are so excited to see how the Lord will fill them.
Take a quick look, this will be your last view of the hallway. In the blink of an eye the hallway will be turned in to some much needed space for our kitchen.
The kitchen remodel has officially started (May). Cabinets have been removed from walls. And we want to thank all those who generously contributed to the Pie Auction to make this vision a reality.
